Responsibilities: Analyze and improve the existing fine blanking DIES, follow up on the improvement results, confirm the effectiveness. Training local workers on various technical tasks, including stamping dies and product specifications, performance, functions, quality, tools, and processes. Oversee 3D CAD/CAM (CNC programming) for die manufacturing processes. Serve as a technical liaison between the Japanese parent company and US employer on technical progress including product manufacturing and quality in Japanese. Annual trip to Japan required.
Must have 2 years of experience in job offered or related (Engineer), including designing, developing, and manufacturing various dies using 3D CAD/CAM (CNC programming), and ability to read, write, and speak Japanese. Send resume to hdean@yamamotofb.com

Develops and maintains a highly motivated plant organization capable of achieving production goals and objectives. Establishes departmental goals consistent with those of the division and company. Meets/exceeds OEE/KPI. Develops and monitors production budgets. Conceives, develops and implements programs and procedures to improve department productivity and quality. Implements action plans to effectively utilize people and programs such as, safety and health, work groups, etc. Administers plant policies in fair and consistent manner. Performs those administrative activities necessary for the effective management of the operations, including provision for the selection and development of employees, pay administration, budget administration, employee safety, employee counseling and motivation, organization goals and objectives, planning, organizing, integrating and measuring the work performed within the department. Administration of company policies in fair and consistent manner.
Must have a bachelors degree, or its foreign degree equivalent, in electrical engineering, automotive engineering or related field, and 3 years experience in manufacturing, industrial production or related. Send resume to hdean@yamamotofb.com
